As Head of Bioscience, Briony oversees the translation of biological assays and systems onto MiniFAB’s microfluidic platforms. 

Briony has over 11 years industry experience, with 4 years based in the USA working in the highly regulated medical device/ in vitro diagnostic (IVD) field developing immunodiagnostics. During this time Briony had a cross-functional leadership role and was involved in all aspects of IVD design and development, including life-cycle management in compliance with 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and ISO 9001.

Briony graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2004 with a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and has a diverse scientific background with additional experience in therapeutic antibody development and testing.
